Beaten by two U21s sides at Portman Road 22:12 - Dec 1 with 714 viewsSouperJim

I don't care what the competition is or what side we put out, that is utterly embarrassing.

Barrow must be quaking in their boots.

From a winning position... again!

Easy to play off as "oh it's only the pizza cup" but it's the same outcome time and time again, regardless of what team is out.

Premier League U21s to be more accurate. And the future value of their players is likely to be far greater than the present value of ours. Just for a bit of perspective. Carry on.

If we play them 5 years or so in the future, I'll lower my expectations accordingly.

Bit of prospective. We have one of those types of youngsters on loan who can't get into the senior side.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

How come Kieron Dyer's U23's recently beat Spurs U21's.

Think it is you that needs to show some perspective.

And the 2 teams who are top of their U23 league at that. We’re mid-table L1. It’s hardly surprising PL U23 teams are competitive at this level. That’s why they were included in the competition.

And that old friend is a fair point, it really is.

As were the reasons we failed to bury Sunderland in the way we did.

And how we lost to Rotherham.

And didn't win against Crewe as convincingly as we maybe would have liked to.

They're all valid points, it's just, you know, you can see why some people feel it's not panning out the way they would have hoped so far.
