Cook was given one transfer window and given a budget to sign players from the level above. If those players had kept us on the verge of the play offs in League 1 then I am sure Cook would still be manager. Instead we are well off the pace in mid table. Surprisingly (or not) PC’s tenure is the average for a manager in the Championship. It’s a bit longer in L1, but only just. They normally get a year.
