If the team show some early intent and promise the fans will respond, and may be a help not a hindrance. Despite the excellent TIFO yesterday the fans soon muted althought in the first half the team had given them some attacks and intent to support.
Hopefully our visit coincides with Charlton's excellent recent form having a further wobble.. a 2-2 with morecombe and a 1-0 loss to shrewsbury of late
Can Weds night and Saturday cup game also provide the fan base a little more hope that the project hasn't gone completely off the rails.

I've booked a half day, aiming to get to my mates place in Greenwich at about 2:30 for beers and a little pub crawl pre match.
I'm not sure, I think regardless of the Barrow result it's about the league action and 3 points at Charlton. Really need a win there to get us back somewhere towards the track. | |

I wouldn't say my support for Cook is particularly solid at present, you know the model BB(!), and is Cook convincing as a technical and progressive manager? who is drilling the players into a system and patterns of play that are robust? I'm just not seeing enough of it.
Looking at the extended highlights - there are some very promising passages of attacking play, very pleasing on the eye, but the shape and the lines and distance between our players, for Crewe's three significant breaks in the second half were just not there.
I gave up on Lambert last season as there was no progress from a better base of passing. There was just no forward play, and also my understanding was that he had disconnected from his role, midway through his first full season.
All I want is visible progress.. we were seeing it, including Sunderland away, Rotherham has knocked it back, and Crewe it just wasn't strong enough. 4 more games ahead of packoutPR.. lets see how we do.. and give the guy bit more time
But 4 points from 15 against promotion rivals is not good enough... can we get 10 from 19? probably not | |

Barrow is as much about getting the fans onboard.. and perhaps cementing the Fraser/Morsy middle two
