Was sad to hear this.

I loved watching the Monkees on Saturday mornings back in the very early 80s.
Later I remember seeing their film "Head". A minor masterpiece.

This is my favourite solo track by him.

I really like the chord structure and harmonies on this.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.
