I’m glad the window’s shut, personally. 10:24 - Feb 1 with 854 viewshoppy

McKenna has come in, done a good job so far with the squad he inherited, we’ve secured the best keeper we’ve had in years on a permanent deal. We know what we’re working with, whilst some of the fringe players have gone out on loan to get game time - hopefully used well to come back for pre-season with something to offer. Let’s see how we get on. 12 points out of 18 gained is a good start. Now let’s crack on.

He's clearly an imposter. Surely the real hoppy would be saying something about it being a bit chilly whilst it was open?

It's 2 ppg thus far which would see us to 75 points if we maintain that. It would give us a sniff, for sure. It's been a 6 game block that's included 2 tough away games, both of which were quite sobering performances which is disappointing, but it goes to show at this level its about consistency, win the ones against the lesser sides, take a few points off the better ones and try and get on a run. We don't need to win every week. The next 2 for example, absolutely should be taking 6 points from those and if we do we'll be going to MK with a massive following and a lot to play for.

It's just occrred to me that United should be busier, you would've thought the Glazers would love a window.

Probably too busy quoting for repairs, what with it slamming shut.

KM is doing a sterling job so far - and long may in continue through until the end of the season.

Ashton said from the very first day he was here that he likes to do business early, and stresses he really doesn't like doing late business as it can lead you to panic deals and silly season.

Everybody loves a deal at the 11th hour, but it is far more beneficial to do business earlier rather than last minute, like we did.

Thought the scientific advice, in Covid times, was to keep the window open.
