Tyrone Mings 20:55 - Feb 9 with 1805 views | MillsTash | He’s really not that good and over rated. Countless errors tonight against Leeds including getting out jumped by Dan James for Leeds second goal. Webster over Mings.
Tyrone Mings on 20:58 - Feb 9 with 1772 views | Meadowlark | I don't think centre back was ever his best position. He was never that good in the air, but that doesn't make him a bad player. Overrated though? Possibly.

They did pay 25m for him on the basis of him being a CB.

Tyrone Mings on 07:53 - Feb 10 with 1196 views | Churchman | I think Mings is a smashing player. He may not have been at his best last night and not be in the greatest form at the moment, but there’s a reason why he’s played for England 16 times. He is quick and skilful for a big bloke. Mings can tackle, place a pass and reads the game well. He also has heart and a bit of presence about him. For me, from the first time I saw him play, he looked tailor made to be the mobile one of a centre back pairing. Not sure about the hairdo, mind

Totally agree with everything you say, except the hairdo. There’s a lot worse out there. He just had a bad game last night, you have to distinguish between a bad game, a poor run of form, and a bad player.

When he was playing for us, I always felt he looked a CB in the making as he had all the attributes to do the job. He probably could do with a Tony Adams or John Terry type character next to him to keep him honest. Last night was probably an off night for him, we all have them. However, if you are called up to play for your country you certainly aren’t a bad player.

Even last night when he made some mistakes there was also moments of quality too that make him stand out.

Tyrone Mings on 11:21 - Feb 10 with 893 views | Strimmer | I watched the highlights on MOTD last night and in quick succession he made a goalline block, a vital 6 yard box block, then his prod/clearance that they scored off. Typical for the focus to be on the latter not the former.

He was solid in the Euro games he played in last summer.

He's, what, the 5th most capped English player to ever play for Ipswich? You'd think people would have a bit more respect.
