Sh1t taste music people help. 23:03 - Apr 6 with 878 views | Lord_Lucan | I’m watching Gary Kemps all star best tunes of the 80’s and at number 8 is George Michael’s “Monkey on your back”. Apparently it hit no 1 in the States but I swear to god I’ve never heard it before. Anyone else????

Absolutely! No tickets left for their gig at the Regent unfortunately - and may I recommended, though I suspect you're already aware, the weekly Rockonteurs podcast that Gary does with the esteemed Guy Pratt (also in NMSFOS, and son of Mike Pratt, who played Jeff in the original Randall and Hopkirk(Deceased))

Check out Pratt's book "My Bass and Other Animals", it's a cracking read.

Ah yes, I have seen that, but not read yet - I suspect given his background, it'll be a highly entertaining tome!

Yeah it's a great read, I really enjoyed it. It was one of two books that I thought drew so many parallels with my own life - if you know what I mean, you could really relate to it ****. The other being Rick Bucklers book. ****Not in a musical sense as I can't play a note, more in a "What the hell was I thinking" type of thing.

I didn't know Guy Pratt was Mike Pratt's son. I did know Mike Pratt had also been a musician, singer & songwriter before his acting career took off.
