The "B" defense is pretty unbeatable. The only letter that might beat the "B" team is "M".

McGreal
Mowbray
Mills

Magilton

Keepors are a bit short on the ground arent they, which is ironic considering they are supposed to be tall

Indeed! I nearly put in Tony Humes and Bobby Hunt too..

My goalie alternative was actually Jon Hallworth

Mine were actually that pair of Hunts we had under MM.

Hallworth is a better shout than Hollman, I should've gone with him.

Ahh, Noel Hunt as in last kick of the game winner at Charlton. Great day! And Stephen of course, who wasn’t the worst player to play for us.

Better than Bobby Hunt who was a McGarry era player. Phenomenal eyebrows, but I don’t remember too much about him as I don’t think he played much

I loved their passion. Both were only here for 5 minutes in the grand scheme of things but looked like the 2 hurting most from the Norwich p/off defeat. Born winners, and clearly both had a lot of time for Mick. Yes that Charlton match, bit of a nothing game until that point, a huge diagonal ball from Mings to McGoldrick, then Hunt tucks it away to put us top in November. Scenes in the away end, it was all going so well.

Bobby is a new one on me, before my time and I guess not spoken about much owing to his lack of appearances.

I was thinking the other day, players who don't get spoken about relative to their appearances. Geraint Williams has to be up there, 200+ appearances and not all that long ago really, but rarely mentioned.

I just started going to football at the end of McGarry’s time age 8 so I don’t remember him other than I used to collect those football stickers and he was one of them.

Yes, the Charlton game was odd. It was a dreary sort of nothing game played at lunchtime. I actually went with a Mackem mate of mine and even he enjoyed the scenes of going berserk at the end. We spent the afternoon in the hostelries around London Bridge/Borough Market and got absolutely wasted. Great day. We had a real chance that season. Oh well.

No place for Colin Healy? He made Cesc Fabregas look like Colin Healy once, don’t you know?
