I met up with some friends last night and two of them are Pompey fans.
They both rated Harness highly as an attacking player but they said he was defensively poor. Inconsistency also seems to be an issue with him. They also said he will probably benefit from some better coaching and that he’s likely to get that at Ipswich.
As for Pigott they are really relieved they finally have a striker as they were concerned about going into the season without any. They think he didn’t get a chance at Ipswich and that he will do well for them.
All in all they are happy with the deal. |  |
