Yes I knew there was a bolt but had no idea it had a name!

My memory is vague too. I do remember the finale being someone would shoot a bolt at a box with a bit of string keeping it together and if they hit the string the box would release a load of coins. Something like that. How much the jackpot was I can't remember.

I do vaguely remember the Golden Shot with Bob Monkhouse and the lovely Anne Aston, but not the format. Until I saw the pic in the thread, I’d long forgotten Charlie Williams did the programme in later years.
