Harness - a guilty feeling 10:04 - Aug 28 with 3487 viewsitfc_bucks

What did we pay Pompey for him? Whatever it was, it wasn't enough.

The bloke just makes things happen for us and feels like a player we've missed for years. The balance he brings to the side is incredible, and he does the dirty work everywhere on the pitch.

Should we have a whip round and pay Pompey a bit more? We've clearly robbed them fffcking blind!

I'm sure they're happy with what they got.

He doesn't seem to do a whole lot in 'open play', based on the very limited minutes I've seen him - hope that's not harsh. But he comes alive in the box or when there's a shooting opportunity.

I've no idea how he managed to reach that ball and score yesterday...and no it definitely wasn't because he fouled the man. Indeed we haven't had a player with such a knack for a goal for years.

It seemed to me that the defender had his arm out to stop him but Harness used his body strength to go through it. No foul.

Saw him earlier today walking his dog. Rubbish post, but just thought I’d share it

A big one I would think if it needs a harness to control it.

Burns did something similar towards the end of the first half when he was beating their defender on the right side, defender had his arm across the front of Burns holding him off and Burns used his strength to get past him, all the ref saw was the defender fall over and gave a free kick, should have known the Harness decision would go the same way

It is harsh. He is good at pressing and as a result has the highest number of tackles per game from our forward line. More than Edmundson and Woolf, for context.
