The PM basically had nothing to say so ended it with a ‘yeah but Corbyn’ response. Kinda pathetic.

He's really gone back to the Boris playbook, and it suits him even less

Essentially what he did last week. Is this going to be a weekly thing?

In many ways, he ignores the question even more than Johnson did. Johnson often had a stab at it (however truthful) before coming back with something more knock about. I sense the hand of Gove behind this, but I think it may show that Sunak is not necessarily that quick on his feet because it all seems very rehearsed, and it doesn't seem to matter what the question is.

I suppose it does mean he is unlikely to be stuffed at PMQs which may be all they are trying to achieve because the lines he is coming up with surely aren't playing to a receptive audience any longer.

It takes a few months, usually in opposition to get 'good' at PMQs, Starmer been doing it for ages now and is a lot better than he was

That's certainly true. But one advantage that both recent PMs have had is the six week hustings which will have enabled them to become much more confident public performers.

Christ. Imagine how f**king awful they were before.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Stamer's also a highly-qualified legal bod, so thinking on his feet in the court room is second nature to him.

You’d think a PM would also be able to think on their feet quite easily.

Most reasonable observers thought that Sunak was rubbish, with only the 'but Corbyn' lines generating waving of order papers from his own benches. According to the Express and Mail it was a resounding triumph. Therein lies Starmers problem.

It was funny recently, with the Mail desperately printing articles supporting Truss, to see its commenters mocking the paper for its stance.
