It seems self evident with the return of Aluko, Leigh, Evans and soon to be Harness that the spaces in the squad are replacements for Ball and TJJ. With Humphreys showing himself capable, maybe a midfielder isn't quite so pressing but I do fear Camara will not play a significant role this season, so maybe it is?
Up top is where big decisions need to be made. We maybe the divisions top scorers, but few would deny that we are far from clinical. So many crosses seem to flash across the box crying out for a fox in the box. Does KM want a young, Prem loanee a la TJJ? Does he want a permanent youngster who he feel can step up with the club if and when that happens a la Whittaker? That would mean decent money. Does he want someone proven at this level for money lke Johnson-Clarke Harris who should cut it if promoted? Or, does he want experience, a snaffler of chances who may not fit the starting system like Ladapo and do the leg work but will come on for 25-30 minutes and gobble up 8-10 goals but is not one for the future? Rhodes would fit that bill. Mick Mills was fairly enthused about Charlie Austin. Decisions need to be made. I hope it's quick. |  |

When we signed Stewie we were the best club in the championship and in the promotion mix for the premier league.
It is very difficult to attract strikers in our position as they mostly want to be in the championship.
I would leave El Miz on loan to finish his season and see how much development he has made in the summer if we think Camera will be back soon, I would be looking for a more creative mid than El Miz. If anyone is available | |

Can't see it either, McCann is under pressure without even thinking about selling their top striker, they're still in the play-off mix too and they'll think they're just under performing which they probably are with the quality they have..
Looks like DM is staying too, can't find a buyer, though they do need to balance their books somewhere along the line I think, the days of big £5m transfers have gone so it won't be as easy now.. |  | | |

We need a poacher with the natural instinct to be in the right place. I know initially it seems underwhelming but I'd happily take an Austin or a Rhodes to do that job until the end of the season to get us promoted. Then bring in a proper all round striker for the Championship in the summer. | | | |
