Well that makes sense tbf.
I was in Sainsbury's yesterday and saw they had some packs of unusually shaped Xmas crackers reduced to relative pennies. I was curious to know what was inside them and considered buying a box to find out.
Then I figured by helping them sell out of the product I'd be encouraging more manufacturing of a rubbish item that has no use but to pollute the planet once a year with more needless junk.
I Googled them to see if I could find out what they contained but could only find 'gift' which was annoying. What the gift is was the whole point.
I wish I'd bought a box now to find out. | |

I've just checked and my local Sainsburys is open till 9.00pm.
So, Bottle of Baileys, Smirnoff Vodka 21 'cos that bottle won't last and some Tonic and some OJ and some Gin (may as well) and some Tequila 'cos I have some Grenadine and it'll go with the OJ and some crisps and nuts and twigletts and chocolate and some chewy bars as well and some fruit.
How much?
Ok, I'll put back the twigletts and the nuts - no hang on, keep the nuts - take back the Gin - no hang on I've got Tonic - Oh it's New Year so just take back the fruit. | |
