I was rather underwhelmed by Clarke yesterday…. 09:08 - Feb 5 with 1675 views | ITFC_Forever | Seemed hesitant and indecisive and also unconvincing with the ball at his feet.

I was rather underwhelmed by Clarke yesterday…. on 09:10 - Feb 5 with 1633 views | FrimleyBlue | Problem for Clarke was he came to the club used to playing the Burns role, against Morcambe, he had so much space he was pretty much able to still do that role to a degree, yesturday however he had to be a fullback. What I don't get is why we can't see Clarke in the actual Burns role with JD behind him.

Gutted to hear that… he was remarkably good against Morecambe on 09:11 - Feb 5 with 1632 views | unstableblue | But I think Morecambe were particularly weak on his side Thought he would be a catalyst at Cambridge as he seemed to have incredible drive

The big thing about the Morcambe game is we scored from a corner inside the first minute and they pretty much packed up until half time . Please don't get On Clark's back after just 2 starts . Think we might well see him in the Burns role soon .

I haven't, i like him My point is just about wanting to see him in place of the ever so poor Burns, rather than trying to develop him as a fullback.

That would be an interesting one, Clarke ahead of JD, any way

Because burns is a right winger and has been all season? Clarke isn't a right winger.

I was rather underwhelmed by Clarke yesterday…. on 10:45 - Feb 5 with 1214 views | TalkingBlues | He was no different from last game, the problem was the good marking from Cambridge in the first 20 meant there was little space to operate. However, he did maraud forward several times very effectively into great spaces, but was then met with some dreadful link play by Burns and Chaplin, who either hit their passes nowhere near his run, or straight to a Cambridge player and scuppered the opportunities, rendering Clarkes attacking ability sterile. I’d much rather have seen Burns (who was dreadful again) hooked off, Clarke pushed into his role and JD behind Clarke, but Burns doesn’t appear to be droppable to McK, very short sighted (as was keeping Keogh on the pitch)

He is at his best. Granted, we have seen very little of that of late.

Fair point, and I guess it does sound like that…. I missed the Morecambe game, and heard rave reviews, but it seems yesterday’s showing wasn’t a patch on his Morecambe performance.

They were a handy bonus, I certainly wasn't expecting those The first one almost caught them out
