Had it been picked up on the day, they would have extended the ban for a failed appeal. It's another major decision that could well have cost us. We're the architects of our own slump of course, but it'd be nice to have the extra however many points it is that could have come our way if not for poor officiating. |  |

Three games feels like a light penalty. Even without the extra game that you'd normally expect for a frivolous appeal, which they are generally considered if they fail, if he had been sent off at the time hw would have missed 60 minutes of the game, plus the 3 games for violent conduct. |  |

At least one if it had been Morsy! Glad he has had punishment but how frustrating is it that it wasn't picked up on the day. At such an early point in the game he would have been sent off and probably would have changed everything. Goes to show how shambolic ref's in this league are |  | | |
