Weird narrative isn't it? I'm not sure that 'look what Labour have done here' is somehow proof that the photos of fat racist crook Boris Johnson attending illegal gatherings were somehow fake and is the 'gotcha' that they think it is. [Post edited 3 Mar 2023 10:38]

TWTD bumfesters... on 10:37 - Mar 3 with 1279 views | Blueschev | As a Labour member firmly on the left, I'm constantly told that we need to reign it in to look electorally credible, then Starmer does this. I'm not getting in to the rights and wrongs of her appointment but does he actually want to give the Tories something to attack him with?? Seems absolutely ludicrous!

I course it isn't, but that attack line will resonate with many unfortunately. Never underestimate the amount of people who think Covid "was all bo11ocks".

Yeah but they're proper looneys. I do hear many people dismissing Covid as if it never happened, or everything we went through was unnecessary. It's all a bit weird. [Post edited 3 Mar 2023 12:24]

For the ones on here who think it's "bo11ocks", assuming they have been to Suffolk at least once, they should imagine walking around Ipswich, Bury, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Sudbury and Newmarket without another person about because they have all been killed by a virus. That's roughly how many people covid killed in the UK even with all the restrictions and a highly effective vaccine. SB

and this is why Labour announcing Sue Gray yesterday was either very naive or really bad news management. It will completely change 'the optic' for how anything against Boris is viewed giving the Tories defence which will they for all its worth. Starmer really needs to think more at times, and be just a bit 'cuter'

It also struck me as taking the heat off the Tories from some of the adverse things that the Hancock leaks have revealed, which had in turn taken the gloss of the Sunak "triumph" on NI. And I don't think it is something that Alastair Campbell would have let Tony Blair do. [Post edited 3 Mar 2023 13:25]

It’s pathetic. JRM has gone as far to say that Sue Gray was biased from the start and was part of a Labour plot to overthrow the PM and Govt

Robbins was chief negotiator under May. The Johnson fans can't stand him as it is.
