Surprised not to see Greg Leigh starting. Morsy and Luongo makes sense to me as we need an enforcer on the pitch that isn't one yellow away from oblivion. Don't know what Burns' and Clarke's fitness situation is, but Jackson (albeit in a different position) got a pretty glowing review from McKenna at Stanley's place if memory serves.

Burns was the only forward to play 90 minutes on Saturday so makes sense to rest him for Bolton, a more important game. It's not rocket science. | |

Quite a suprising lineup, but without knowing who exactly felt what injuries, hard to really make judgement on the changes.
For Sat purposes, i'd have liked to have seen Davis rested as an example, but then with a change on the right, KM probably wants at least 1 fullback playing who's been part of the cleansheets to keep the balance. |  |

After all the complaints from many quarters you want to change 37% of the team?
I'm really happy about the team, let's win early and then take them off rather than thinking we can win with wholesale changes.
