Cracking move. So simple really but the execution from both Luongo and Jackson in particular was perfect.

And started by Donacien who was covering all the way over at deep left back.

I didn't spot that Luongo played the one-two with Broadhead before the slide-rule Aluko-esque pass to Jackson. Meanwhile, Broadhead didn't even look up, passed and turned 180 and was on his bike for that tap in. A really excellent team goal.

Absolutely dire from Accrington, no pressure on the ball, positionally they were woeful. Morsy and Luongo walked through their midfield. Aside from about the first 10 minutes I thought their number 23 was awful.

Nice from our perspective though, encourage them onto us, 1 and 2 touch passing, good movement and then the penetrating ball from ML to KD, who used his pace and put it on a plate for Broady.

Here's the thing, what you don't see from the TV cameras is the movement off the ball - for that goal in particular, our movement off the ball was excellent.

Yes, you can argue that Accri were poor and players didn't track but the movement off the ball, even by players who were not involved, meant that Accri found it very hard to defend against.

Add that to the fact we had drawn then in, deep into our own half. It was textbook.

I would say that McK would use that as the 'ideal' goal and way of playing he wants from us.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good team goal and as you say relies on good off the ball movement from us (I was at the game btw). It was like a knife through butter at times though, in fact just watching that clip back reminds me how Douglas esque their number 23 was last night. I've seen very few performances as bad as theirs last night since we've been in L1.

Oh - I'm not saying Accri were excellent but part of the reason they were poor was the out of possession/ off the ball work we did last night.
