Great performance but I must just nod one's head to Walton 17:30 - Mar 11 with 1299 views | homer_123 | First half save was great and as for the penalty, excellent stuff. Loved the grit and determination from everyone today - some proper controlled aggression in a pressure cooker match. Hirst's finish was sublime, as was Burns steal, run and cross. Burgess.....Walk'esq at the near post, rising unopposed to nod it in.

Great performance but I must just nod one's head to Walton on 17:51 - Mar 11 with 1178 views | bluefunk | Walton also made a great save to prevent a goal which meant the ref had to give the penalty, if you see what I mean. Also a good save from a header from a corner in probably the only chance they had after we went 2 up

Great performance but I must just nod one's head to Walton on 18:38 - Mar 11 with 1006 views | BigCommon | It's been talked about a lot lately, about just coming out the right side of some marginal moments... Thought we earned that right today... Ref scared me first half. Was giving out yellows like confetti.. Luongo did well to walk a tightrope for two thirds of the match.. Some have knocked Burns (not me btw). But, yet again, he comes up with the goods in a massive game. Really pleased for Hirst to grab that all important first league goal in such a big game. Quality finish. And I thought his energy and mobility kept Santos on edge. Burgess gets better and better.. Walton showing the old Walton we know and love, in these last half dozen games...Huge penalty save as well as a couple of others, too So many things to wax lyrical about... The team spirit throughout the whole squad looks like it could carry us that bit further... Special word for Clarke, too.. Don't think they knew what to do with him... And when you see the players we can bring off the bench. You just know the oppo are going to find it hard to "go again".... We just got to make sure we get the job done at PR next week against Shrews.. But a happy camp, I'm sure, going into that one...
Great performance but I must just nod one's head to Walton on 18:56 - Mar 11 with 936 views | Nutkins_Return | Absolutely. There was some absolute nonsense about dropping Walton a while back by some. He had dropped his form from last season and a couple of clear errors. He's a top keeper. In the top 2 in this division for me (Cooper the other buy Cooper has a much smaller sample size of career so far). If Walton didn't make any mistakes he wouldn't be playing in L1 because he really is an excellent keeper.

Good point, the whistle went after the save.

Walton earned us a point a Cambridge, made two fine stops in a matter of seconds at MK and was not going to be beaten today. Starting to find last year's form. Bodes well doesn't it!

To be fair, the person who wanted Walton dropped is the same person who wanted Morsy and Burns dropped.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Walton is one of the best keepers in this league -that's clear as day.
