Looking like Plymouth’s Mumba out for season 23:30 - Apr 8 with 3426 viewsunstableblue

Nasty knee injury yesterday, so on way back to Norwich is the expectation

Been a key player

Wouldn’t wish an injury on anyone

Plymouth fans feel they have cover, but maybe reduces options.

Still think given their run in that they’ll get automatic and probably well deserved

Weird season they've had really. I think the team they'll finish the campaign with would struggle to finish Top 6. But they had almost all their hardest games front loaded and played out most of them with a much better squad, accumulating so many points that by the time loan recalls and injuries weakened them it was so downhill that it barely mattered!

IMO they'll get absolutely murdered in the Champ next year...

Mumba is going to be a very good player, I fear for Norwich

Any idea what the injury is currently or two early to tell? That's a massive loss for them!

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Their attacking options will be okay but they’ll need to recruit a couple of defenders. Cooper’s injury could end up as a blessing in disguise if it keeps him at the club for another season because he’s so important to how they play.

Really? I don't know much about them but they seem to have a very high proportion of high performers on loan. I'd be concerned about trying to replace contributions from Whittaker, Azaz, Matete, Mumba etc in one summer. It's a lot of flux.

And if they are in the Championship, they sure as hell aren't gonna be taking several Championship players on loan next season. The strategy was quite simple this year - just get in a whole bunch of very good Prem and Champ loanees, bung them in and see what happens. Add in a brilliant, Premier bound keeper. And watch the long range shots go in. Next season, assuming they make it, may well be a tough one for them. Having said that, is the standard in the championship much better than the top of L1? There are some poor teams in the bottom half of championship. But if they can't get some great loanees in again, they could be one of them.

See Nottingham Forest. Though I'm sure Plymouth fans would take being in touching distance of survival at this stage next season as things stand, if they go up.

Horrible. A shame for him as well to miss the run in after such a good season.

I think Plymouth will complete the job. Hopefully second to us, but I think they'll do it.

Truly impaired.

Bit of a blow...They should be ok...But if they slipped out of top 2, Mumba is one that you'd want in your P.O. squad.

Lol, let's not go comparing Plymouth to Forest. They've got a grandiose sense of self importance as it is right now.

Would still prefer Barnsley, looking unlikely though.
