The guy saying Chaplin came to us as Barnsley were relegated and nobody wanted him, then replying “whatever” when told he was chatting sht, was a particular highlight

Found it quite funny that they dismissed Chaplin as not being Championship quality. I'm sure he won player of the month at least once during his time with Barnsley. There is a real stench of nervousness and a lack of informed opinions going on up there.

‘I laughed at the highlighted and it reminded me of the one time I found myself in the Drum and Monkey on a matchday. I had come to Norwich for a Friday night 'do,' but wanted to get home for Saturday. Without going into details I decided to abort the trip at Ipswich and hole up for the night.in the Travelodge.

I usualy avoid flat-top pubs but my need for the hair of the dog was desperate. I did not realise it was a binner matchday watering hole In they came, a strange, mottled crowd with matching shirts and rituals, most of them as fat as butter. Like an undiscoved tribe they would have been an anthropologist's dream

When a young lady with the rear end of a pit-pony and a face to match asked me how I thought we would "git on t'day' I decided that my brain was hurting enough and made a quick exit’

Very good!

Seems like they're getting a touchy windy. Parp!

I saw this post too, and I really don't know what to think of it.

In a way kudos to the guy for opening up about it, but I'm not sure that's the best kind of message to be putting out is it?

Considering Burnley said we gave them the hardest games they've had this season, it's yellow blinkers for them to think we couldn't compete.

They got spanked 3-0 a few days after we played them.

They are in decline and they know it. I predict we will finish higher than them next season if we go up.

No wonder they are restless. They don't seem to understand that it took Evans tying a hand behind our backs for over a decade combined with an outrageous run of luck (getting Lambert, journeyman Holt suddenly becoming decent and always having a saleable asset just when needed) to get above us for a while.

Truly impaired.

Always comedy value going on their threads.....when we play then next year it isn't going to be the walk in the park they think it is, especially going by the Burnley game. Bring it on and watch the budgies get spanked!

He didn’t realise the Drum and Monkey was a pre-match watering hole for home fans… Obviously he didn’t see the nearby ground!
