That’s the difference this season… superb cover across the squad Davis out… bring in Leigh Clarke needing support… bring on Donacien Hirst tired out the centre backs… bring on Freddie Need to break the lines… here’s Kyle Burns tuckered out… bring in Jackson

Dom Ball was really on his game when he came on today… on 20:39 - Apr 22 with 2716 views | DinDjarin | Ball is class and if he did not get injured would have been a permanent fixture in the middle of the park. The fact Massimo has come in and done so well is the only reason he is not now starting each game.
Dom Ball was really on his game when he came on today… on 20:45 - Apr 22 with 2687 views | NthQldITFC | I must admit, I've always tended to be of the view that you need one really physical grafter and one cultured unlocker of defences in central midfield. I was quite excited about Morsy and Evans, and the Morsy and Humphreys combos earlier in the season. Now I'm not saying that either Morsy or Luongo lack the cultured element - not at all, but they're probably more ball winners and ball runners rather than passers - but I must admit that having two blokes in there who can handle themselves physically and dominate the opposition's CM really does seem to work and give the team fantastic domination of games (in League One anyway). Particularly when you've got the creativity of the likes of Broadhead and Burns outside. What does this mean for the likes of Humphreys in this division or the division above? Or a Camara type player? Presumably the latter is a 10 or not here? Humphreys could probably play as a 10 too. Can Evans do enough grafting with a bit of clinical passing thrown in. Or does two from Morsy, Luongo, Ball, El Mizouni work for next season?

Dom Ball was really on his game when he came on today… on 20:54 - Apr 22 with 2588 views | BigCommon | Thought he came on seamlessly and right up to speed.... Morsy though? Another top, top performance, especially as he was riding a yellow card for the best part of an hour.... It was quite a midfield battle at times, imo. And at half time, at 1-0, was thinking about Morsy on that yellow, and him possibly getting another one and missing Barnsley, too... But he did well, I thought, to stay combative, without overstepping the mark...
If Morsy doesn’t get player of the year… it will be a little inaccurate!! (n/t) on 20:58 - Apr 22 with 2562 views | unstableblue |

The pair of them almost completely shut out what is not a bad league one midfield, as a combo they work very, very well and are probably the reason Broadhead is able to be so impressive.

Dom Ball was really on his game when he came on today… on 21:14 - Apr 22 with 2436 views | Horsham | When you think how our centre midfield players take passes in confined areas from the centre backs and Walton and work it into positive possession so often without cocking it up it’s been a cause of some anxiety to me at the thought of anyone but Morsy and Luongo playing there. Ball came in and made my anxiety go away. Very well played. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I believe an up to speed Camara could be a fantastic option in the centre. He has age on his side which Ball, Morsy and Luongo don't.
