Everybody saying what a terrible run in we had we blew all the top sides away in their back yard hardest game was Port Vale so let's be on it Saturday and get the job done.

For that reason, part of me wishes we had something like Peterborough at home and Wednesday away left. Teams that have to come at us and try and win, rather than those who can sit back. Vale’s approach caused us more than a few problems last week.

The only plus is Exeter and Fleetwood have nothing to play for, but they’ll love the feather in their cap of beating one of the top teams in the division before seeing the season out.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Spot on. No idea if they'll have their strikers (Stansfield/Nombe) back by Saturday but if they do they'll be doubly dangerous. Good side, decent players all over, we will need to play very well. I back us to do that but there'll be two teams in this one, no mistake.

Yes we need to be focused But I don't see any other result than a resounding win, if we get an early goal it could be a goalfest

i watched them against Wycombe 5 or 6 weeks ago. Decent team and we will have to be on it but nothing to fear as such.

All that needs to be done is to play as we have been. Don't allow Exeter a sniff and take our chances. They will be aware it's our party and they will try to be party poopers no doubt. What I liked about McKenna's after Barnsley comments was that he hoped the fans enjoyed it and that in a couple of weeks the players can enjoy it to. He knows there are two games which in a sense define our season. Two wins and we may be champions. Not that most fans, as with myself, will be overly concerned if we don't go up as Champions, just get the job done. The team with the exception perhaps of Cheltenham could not have done more. Credit to Plymouth for grinding out results and staying top.

Essentially true but every time they cross halfway on Saturday I'm going to be fearing that we are up against 1970 Brazil.

Need to keep a clean sheet on Saturday, because I doubt Exeter will be able to stop this team, in this mood, from scoring against them. Ipswich have only failed to score three times in the League this season and only once at home (Lincoln H, Wycombe A, Bristol A). We've only conceded two goals in 14 games, scoring 37 in reply.

Even if they can frustrate, that still leaves us only needing a point from Fleetwood (assuming SheffWed don't mess up at Shrewsbury).

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

ha!

They play some decent stuff tbf to them and wouldn't in anyway shape or form write them off, but think we will expose the gaps between their centre backs and central midfielders if they play their usual game.

As Exeter and Plymouth are local rivals maybe they won’t try too hard and help Plymouth get that second spot. No damage done anywhere, just a little up yours.

As it is Exeter we are playing, it would be more apt to say "The Grecians from Euro 2004".
