I sort of lived with Sladey at one point. I say “sort of” as basically I moved into his flat with Metal Mickey when he got sent down after that day Norwich beat us in Easter 81 and effectively screwed our title. | |

It really would. Metal Mickey was called Metal Mickey because he was a cripple and had these metal leg things, he also had metal walking aid things, basically everything about Mick was very metal.
We all laughed at the time (including Metal Mick) but I don’t suppose we can laugh together about it now). I suppose that Metal Mick would now be critised for accepting that he was metalised. | |
