Well done on arranging/encouraging the welcome. Re-watched the scenes so many times. It looked incredible. Then I just came across the Kyle Edwards interview where he said he'd never experienced anything like it and it felt like they were arriving at a Champions League final. When players are receiving that message, you can see why they stuck 5 past Exeter in 30mins.

Thank you!

Couldn’t agree more. They’ve been great over the past few seasons. More power to that and people passionate about pushing this club forward.

"The bus ride in was something I’ve never experienced before in my life,” he recalled. “And I’ve said before the fans here are top tier, they’ve been our 12th man all season and I’m just buzzing. - Burns

"It was unbelievable,” Woolfenden said. “When you give them a reason to get behind you, they're up there with the best. “There are teams in the Premier League that will never have scenes like that, they’ll never have fans like that. Being a town that’s in the middle of nowhere, it really is unbelievable" - Woolf

McKenna said his squad were inspired by the raucous welcome their team coach received from thousands of fans when it arrived at Portman Road 90 minutes before kick-off.

He said: "The scenes before the game were a massive part of the day and a sign of the spirit and the love of the club in the community.

"It was amazing, way beyond what we were expecting.

"I've seen a few of those sort of things, at big Premier League grounds and European games, but I've not seen many like that, not just the numbers but the passion on their faces. It was a really special moment."

Somebody near me made the point that he hoped the air conditioning was turned off so we didn't incapacitate them all.

Bump. Brilliant from them. I love the footage from this clip here that someone posted on another thread (pre-match crowds from about 4:40).

The TIME FOR HEROES banner was spot on too. They’re much better than Celebrations. Heroes has the mini Twirls and Finger of Fudge. Who doesn’t like a Finger of Fudge? And Celebrations have Bounty in them which always end up in the bin. So a great display and good taste in confectionery.

Uppa Towen! 🍬

Have to admit I was very wrong on this. I was a bit sceptical about the idea but it was absolutely superb and a wonderful welcome that surpassed everything I expected. The players and staff were clearly blown away by it. Well done to every Blue Action and every single fan who was there!

An amazing day all round, with a performance befitting everything that went on before and after the game - superb scenes all round and so glad I could be there having waiting 23 years since that sunny day at Wembley.

Its all come together this season, the final run in, the manager, the squad, the football style, the goal tally, culminating in the epic day with Blue Action showing the scale of passion leading the fans here on the arrival welcome. We are all one, the squad, the supporters, the club. We are reborn!

Thanks all for the kind words.

Massive credit to everyone that turned out - after Barnsley we expected there would be a buzz for it and it would be reasonably busy, but we were blown away by how many people showed up. It was packed out along the whole route half an hour before the bus even showed up. It was a beautiful day from start to finish 💙
