Andersen looks a good player. Good leader too. I don’t see why he shouldn’t do alright for Luton in the PL. Ok Hirst took him to the cleaners one on one, but that can happen to the best central defenders.
What is interesting is that some people don’t think our centre halfs are good enough to make the jump to the Championship. I’m not so sure. |  | | |

Exactly, the money they’ll be getting for a year in the prem is covering their new stadium so they aren’t going to go crazy on player fees. Few sensible signings to help them be competitive when they come back down is smart.
Given what was happening there a decade or so ago, they of all clubs won’t be spending silly money desperately trying to stay up. |  |

I believe he was a part of the Barnsley squad that finished fifth in the Championship in the 2020/21 season so he has performed at level where a move to the Prem wouldn't have been a surprise. | |

Luton have to spend a fair bit on their ground just to comply with PL regulations. They will recruit cheaply & try to do a Norwich & go down, but potentially bounce come stronger.
Sheffield United are going to be poor as well, plus Forest, Bournemouth & Palace. |  |
