He seems to have a new club every six months. He and Nouble would be the ultimate journeymen strike force

The only difference being that Waghorn can actually put the ball in the net and is a goal threat.

I loved him when he was here for that season.

Agreed, he was a good player for us. I see at age 33 now, appearances and goals have fallen away since around 2020. However I still think he will be an asset to Derby who look a bit lacking in the forwards area.

Waghorn and Garner, two 1 season men who looked great at Ipswich, and probably would have had good Championship careers with Ipswich had Paul Hurst not arrived and replaced them with League One players! Roberts...

Fantastic player to watch and a great attitude.

I really enjoyed his time here.

Waghorn seemed well up for the new season before Hurst came on. Such a shame as his first season with us was a really bright light during a dark time.

And except for one of his seasons at Rangers we saw the best of him. He was excellent here. He wasn’t far off at Derby either after he left us. It obviously didn’t work out at Coventry, but you’d think he’ll find the net plenty of times in L1, even though he’s not getting any younger.
