Maybe Town are worried Reading will still be in business by then?

Was thinking the same, wondered if they might just scrap the priority levels for this one and open it up to general sale off the bat so people who want to go can buy without fear of missing out because members have hogged all the tickets for an extra point.

I know we have better facilities in the Championship, but did you not see the queues for people collecting their tickets for Fleetwood away? I know people that had to wait over an hour, I’m sure the away end only held about 700, imagine 3,000 going to collect their tickets from QPR tomorrow. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Thanks Sitters. I am hoping they get to general sale. I can get 2 earlier but will need another 3 for family. I wonder how many they will offer? [Post edited 18 Aug 2023 13:49]

They should make general sale but more than happy to provide you with some extra numbers if you want.

I've often wondered (well, whenever we play them at least) why are all Reading's mid-week games 8pm? Assume it's due to traffic, as presumably it would only be agreed by the Football League if the police requested it, rather than the club?

Because the ground is near a retail park, see also Bolton.

They are aware and looking at ways of stopping it from happening. Also far from happy with the way tickets were being passed on by third parties last season.

Good, I hope they find a way to stop it. Makes no difference to me because I am at the top of the food chain but it is wrong that people that actually want to go to games miss out.

What do you mean by the last part? Those people who sell tickets on twitter etc?

I agree PJH. Unfortunately we didn’t go to as many away games last year due to various circumstances. One being that I wasn’t able to be free at 10am on a Monday morning to get tickets. We had always got gold cards since they were issued and it was annoying to see people asking gold card holders for account numbers in order to get tickets for certain games.
