So who’s looking forward to Leeds then?! Wow 20:00 - Aug 19 with 2410 views | unstableblue | This is going to be some match. Most anticipated for me in some time. Their fans turn up both in numbers and relentless voice. It’s going to sell out. Season ticket holders will be retuning from holiday. 29500+ The pitch should be reaching its best. We’ll be watching Ayling, Rodon, Ampadu, James, Gelhardt. Farke is their manager. Leeds have yet to win, so have pressure. They need a win. We’re top, we were excellent against Stoke. Broadhead won’t have a second off day. And Chaplin is off the mark. I doubt Leeds will match the press Ainsworth set/up today. So we may find more space on our home and larger pitch. Let’s sing our fecking hearts out. How excited are you??

I only saw the second half. I thought they played well after West Brom’s dodgy goal (they were pitiful) for a spell. Very fluid. Noticeably they ran out of steam and ideas at the end. How will we do? No idea. It’ll take a few more games yet to determine where we stand against these teams, but the signs are better than I hoped for and I was one of the more optimistic (or stupid). I can’t wait for Saturday. So looking forward to it. Always enjoyed games against dirty Leeds! At the very least I hope we avoid defeat not least to avoid a slaughtering from my Leeds supporting chum. Telling him Farke ‘will always be scum’ and looks like the bloke who was electrocuted in The Green Mile just isn’t enough.
So who’s looking forward to Leeds then?! Wow on 10:53 - Aug 21 with 1347 views | the_toff | These are the games we wanted back when we were sat freezing our nuts off on a Tuesday night watching us hump Morecambe 4-0. A full PR against Leeds, late August sunshine and off the back of 3 wins in 3. These are the sort of games this club should be playing in, and if you can't get excited about these ones you never will. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

So who’s looking forward to Leeds then?! Wow on 11:31 - Aug 21 with 1240 views | ChampionsofInnsbruck | If we play like we did against Stoke, we can win, but we won't get away with a performance like the first half against QPR. Clarke in for Don is a must, we also need to be a bit more direct from the back at times, the risk of getting caught out passing backwards is far greater in this league. If we win, it will be electric, Leeds for whatever you say about them, make every game an occasion, our last game against them was great and their support gained a lot of respect from us as they took a defeat to a relegated, awful, side with respect and were good banter before and after. So who’s looking forward to Leeds then?! Wow on 12:34 - Aug 21 with 1116 views | textbackup | I’m away on holiday so miss both leeds and Cardiff unfortunately. No reason why we can’t take 6 points from those two… however, 4 points wouldn’t be the end of the world. Really good start, and 3 really different games. We had to adapt and change accordingly, and I’ve been really impressed by that more than anything else

I think we are underestimating how good QPRs press and set-up was on Saturday, it was close to Sunderland’s at times. And obviously far far superior to Stokes. I don’t think Leeds will match it, and we might find it a slightly easier game. The concern from Saturday what that at Loftus Road - QPR were winning the one on one duels. And that is a concern. Leeds have been having high possession stats, and will expect to dictate the game, as we like to do, so it’ll be a real battle. I’m expecting we’ll get a real performance out of Chaplin and Broadhead, following some lacklustre moments Saturday. Town fans really need to bring them A game in this sell out match. Farke will have had the requisite time on the training pitch.. that we’ll expect them to be understanding roles. They also have some top players. Just cannot wait!
