Lack of recognised centre back on the bench surprises me slightly. Edmundson pick up a knock?

No Bannan for Wednesday. Big blow for them, as when he plays well, so do they !

Feels like fridge’s career with us is essentially over. Seems forever injured or simply not in squad

Who's Bannan? Is he related to Barry Barry-Bannan? A ready made excuse for failure to win missing the best player in the league.

Not necessarily good news for us. Looks like they are going for big and strong over skill. Trust we have learned enough how to handle that approach in League 1, though. COYB!

Seems exactly McKenna like. Whenever he's made signings, they have never started matches early doors. He's stated before that he wants players to get 'up to speed' with how we play and what is expected of them. Williams is slowly working his way in, as is Hutch and Taylor. I love the fact KM doesn't just throw in players for the hell of it. [Post edited 16 Sep 2023 14:31]

Clarke can play there (in fact that's his long term position) and both Williams and Ball can cover the RB/WB role.

Good. I'm going for 6-0 to Town, with Ladders, Chappers and Headers with one apiece, and a hat-trick of Iorfa own goals. COYFB

My boy likes to read the team out we were on the super tram at the time. Usually get a quick post in before but didn’t this time! Thought I maybe have been beaten to it…!

Not sure why we would have Ball on the bench over Edmundson, though. Or Baggott. Against Cardiff it was more balanced. But appreciate you're right - Clarke can move in if need be.

And carrying an injury. Which he's just had a fortnight to work on.
