Isn't it a case that you cannot record anything, as there's no box?

Can't you watch everything online these days anyway? I haven't recorded live telly for years.
Anyone got Sky Glass? on 17:27 - Oct 21 with 1730 views | wkj | One thing I did notice is that Netflix is the ad free package, so for two years the tv is £10 a month and the basic ad-free Netflix subscription is £10.99 a month. So, assuming the prices hold and the services offered do not change over the initial 2 year window it kind of pays for itself if you're a netflix subscriber. It doesn't handle Freeview unless you disable the connection to the internet from the TV - soo, that is a bit odd to say the least. If you want Movies and sports you pay a much higher fee than the £699 / £10 for 2 years 44" box (The netflix things is incorrect as they have changed it to NEtflix standard (ad supported) with a monthly "addon" for the better plans) Edit: After a deep dive of the cost and then the price after 6 months, I don't think its actually worth it, particularly with all the flap you have to go through to get freeview rolling [Post edited 21 Oct 2023 17:34]

It's defo one that seems to be great for some. Not for others. I've had it a while now and it's been excellent. The recording aspect isn't the same as sky q but you can add things to a playlist to watch later so its pretty similar tbh and enables you to add one off events aswell as series to it too. They've now updated it so you can delete things from the playlist too. Can't say I've have any issues and haven't missed anything to make me thing sky q was better. But alsonhaving said that I can't say there's anything sky glass does that's better than sky q other than you can plug the TV in anywhere and don't need the cable.. was the main I got it and it helps with this situation.
