I'm waiting for when all the revised kick off times for the few remaining Saturday ties are moved for "overseas TV rights" purposes. I will save my rant until then.

The channels have thought it is their chance to get the Premier League sides. However, they will play weakened teams anyway. They have missed a trick on going for the mismatches and teams that play attractive football. It's like they have forgotten the magic of the FA Cup always was its main selling point.

Disagree. TV executives aren't stupid so they pick the teams with the biggest armchair armies, so they get decent viewing figures. That's why every Man U FA Cup game has been on TV since 2005, no matter how uninteresting the game to everyone else.

Not since 2005 as there was a shock a few years ago becuase Na Utd weren't on the tv. I'll see if I can find it.

But you are right, they just put on the games they think will have the most armchair fans i.e. the big clubs.

We should be thankful Arsenal and Liverpool drew each other....!
