Desert Island Beers on 14:38 - Nov 20 with 4839 views | catch74 | Great thread! Adnams Southwold Bitter - it may not be the best beer in the world but I know I’m home when I have a good pint. Gales HSB - but from 20 years ago, it was bought out and changed/ wrecked. Triple FFF, Moondance - the best beer local to me by a country mile. Fullers Honeydew, I had quite a relationship with this, for which I should be shot. Ringwood Old Thumper - but not too many.

Old Thumper used to be 5.6% When it really was a beast of a beer. Marston's bought Ringwood Brewery in 2007 and now want to close it down. They tried making it a session beer by bringing it down in strength.Sad

I probably drink more of your first two than anything else. I was surprised to find both readily available when we were in Slovenia a few years ago.

Waitrose sell Titanic Plum Porter and once saw Titanic Cherry Porter in a spoons', a wonderful sight to behold. Elland 1872 Porter very rare in the 'wild' usually only glimpsed at Beer Fests...
