Have forgotten how many goals, and how well Ladapo did playing McKennaball before Hirst showed up.

Thought we looked better when Lapado came on for those closing minutes. Lapado plays a similar way to Hirst, but not at his level. However, he’d be a better option than Jackson whilst Hirst is out.

Not quick enough, he gets the spin on like
Morsey then loses the ball and gives away a foul as doesn’t have acceleration to get past his man, he is league one or one for when teams are parked on their 20 yard line only like
Norwich were
We need better players to push on

The signing of Hirst led us to promotion. I like Freddie for particular games but there is a significant drop off from Hirst. I assume he'll be out for weeks so hopefully we have someone in the door first week of Jan.

Whilst true. We also dropped from top to 3rd until hirst game in.

Freddie has uses. But he's not hirst.

I’m not a fan of his but he’s closer in style to Hirst than Jackson so it seemed a strange sub. Either way both of them are not good enough to progress from the level they have got us too. Both been good servants but I think 2 strikers are a must for January if Hirst is badly injured.

Including McKenna?

He just doesn't have 60-70 minutes of a press in him, and he's a bottom half championship striker at best (you could argue top L1).

I agree regarding the press for 60-70 mins. He probably can't do it in this league.

However this "he's a league one striker". Im not saying youre wrong but what is Jackson then? I doubt anyone in the top half of the championship are lining up a bid in January.

Unfortunately Jackson is not a central striker. He works hard, yes, but he is a lot better out wide.
