To transform from that, to where we are today, is frankly astonishing. Remember those games at the end of the season after Cook arrived, losing badly to Northampton and Wimbledon? The darkest of dark days.
I don't think we can overstate just what an achievement this season has been. I love this team.

I hesitate to bring any negativity at the moment, but...
Cook was certainly more /likeable/ than Lambert, and I'm pleased for him that the Chesterfield job has really worked out. But I'm not sure he was any better a football manager than Lambert (and the win percentages of the two men support that contention). |  | | |
