Out of interest. what are you happy to pay to watch the town

Just seen on x about wolves increases and it reminded me of Nottingham fans who went through a similar increase of over 70% for their seat. So just curious what everyone would be happy to pay to see town play considering we could see the same sort of increases in 12 months time.

a niche perspective

I currently pay £501 for my ticket, which equates to £41.75 a month, or £26.39 a match.

I think I'd raise an eyebrow if prices increase above £50 a month, which would be £31.57 a match, and would probably have to give some serious thought to what I want to do if prices tick up over £60 a month.

Not that I have one, but I know that Exec Boxes have gone up by over 100%.

I dont see the need to have extortionate season ticket prices as the return is dwarfed by the TV money anyways.

I think the rising costs of Concert prices will be a factor here.
It's £150+ to see major artists in a Stadium environment.
Something I now boycott and focus on smaller venues locally at the £40-£60 price point.

However, A premier league football match arguably could be considered the same value as say watching Taylor Swift, David Gilmour, AC/DC etc.

Season Tickets should be considered as a loyalty purchase and as such drive cheaper pricing. It may get to the point where the club would be better off selling the seats to "day out" randoms rather than loyal fans. It's a balance to stake but a commercial one nonetheless.

Where it's affordable or not £1000 per season for premier league at just over £50.00 per match seems good value versus even a 2000 capacity venue music artist. I think there may well be a rude awakening incoming.

But for some like me it's not just the ticket price but the parking and train fare is £32. A pie, a couple of pints and a programme can add another £20.
And before somebody says but you dont need those things remember I leave home at 11.20 and dont get back until gone 20.00.
So the cost of the season ticket for a Block B OAP (£340) like me is relatively small compared with other expenses.

It’s more a question of what is affordable, over what are you happy to pay.

It probably all depends on the attitude and objectives of the owners.

If you're a pension fund looking to grow the value of your asset, it certainly helps the balance sheet if you have 21,000 season tickets at an average price of £1,000, as opposed to an average of £500.

£21m a year in ST income becomes a much bigger sum once capitalised, compared to £10m a year.

I’m lower north. Section 6. I’m paying £31 per month. Which is a stupidly low cost.

Exactly this. I think people may be surprised by prices in a year or so if we stay up. Prices are comparatively low, albeit to be expected given where we have come from and what we have endured through the ME era. Supply and demand.

I suppose the demand in the queue too might lower/increase your threshold.

I remember on the radio some Spurs fan moaning about the prices and I thought they'll be thousands of other fans/mugs who will pay their over inflated prices.
If you gave your ST in, you'd be waiting ages to get another one. That's why I'm guessing now with reselling platforms, not many five these up. Just resell any other tickets.
