This would be excellent if he comes back. His trajectory last season just went up and up. Knows the squad and management team. Knows what's expected.

McKenna staying was so key when it came to him. If he'd left we wouldn't have a chance of getting him to return.

I think many may have underestimated just how huge keeping hold of KMc is.
Without him, I’m not sure we would survive relegation next season.
With him, along with the level of consistency and players we can now attract to the club, I’m confident we can stay up and more importantly establish ourselves.

It's massive that KMc stayed but I think the amount of emotion that appeared (including from myself) when it looked like he could be off shows how much the majority of the fanbase value him. His stock in the game is huge right now and no matter how some people tried to dress it up as we could replace him easily if he did leave, I have no doubt that we would go straight back down without him.

And keeping the coaching/support staff too. I am sure for a player knowing they have good coaches they can work with that develop them, medical staff who look after them and analysts able to give them good insight for development will all help.

It's so so massive to keep all that together and KMc of course.

I don’t recall anyone saying we could replace him easily, but if they said that they were massively mistaken.

We’ve signed one of the very best young managers in Europe, and that will prove to be the best signing of the Summer for us.
