My favourite near the station is the Lord Nelson. Does a lovely drop of Harvey's Best in there. 36 Trafalgar Street. (sharp left as you come out the station and down the underpass, past the toy and dolls museum, 2nd pub down the hill on the other side of the road) |  |

The first pub on the right directly after the bridge used to be pretty good too. As was The Green Dragon.
Edit...The Prince Albert looks like it might still be pretty good.
