I don't think he is too far off with that assessment, based on the opposition.
We played very well for the first 90 against Liverpool, did no worse than expected against City, were the better team against Fulham and put on a brilliant defensive display against Fulham.
We started very well today and continued to dominate even after the Saints gol but after about 25 minutes we ran out of ideas. We were pretty ropey for the second half. |  |

Disagree plenty of other ways to look at it, how about ranking results? I would say grabbing a point in the dying seconds agains a team that desperately needed the 3 points ranks as “up there” this season…. Had they have won, the momentum sits with them, a point will feel like a loss to them but gives us a boost and confidence to take forward to next game…. That’s another way of looking at it! | | | |
