Doesnt really matter if we want to sell them or not.
They (Delap, Hutchinson & Davis) will all - quite rightly - want to play in the Premier League, and if they want to go, theres no point in us trying to keep them.
KM might be a factor in them deciding to stay but the lure of the Premier League is huge. |  |

We have great owners but they're not going to keep splashing out every window. 100 million spent in the summer and people are calling for big signings in Jan. Feel we may have to lose one of our top players to reinvest heavily. Probably Davis. |  |

We are not going to invest heavily and we are not going to sell a big asset.
Unless we got a stupid stupid fee for one of Delap, Davis or Hutch there is absolutely no way you're going to get rid of one of your three best players as we seek to stay up (All of which have signed new contracts in the last 6 months).
We've probably got about 20M in the kitty and the ability to loan to buy. At most you're probably talking 3/4 players coming in. | | | |

Omari isn't "easily" worth £30m yet
Wilson Odobert is a good benchmark and he went from Burnley to spurs for just over £20m I think? A year younger than Omari and a full season in the EPL behind him.
And I love the optimism but Delap isn't scoring 20 goals this season! That would be one hell of an achievement.
No idea on Leif's value to be honest. But a 20 year old Livramento went from Southampton to Newcastle after they were relegated for an initial £32m, so £30m for a 25 year old Davis feels slightly on the high side
I do think we have a habit of overinflating our own player's worth. I think they'd all need to have exceptional seasons to command the kind of numbers you're talking about |  | | |

Odobert is a year younger and scored 3 and assisted 3 last season. He went for £25M + 5M in add ons. So really, if Omari only has a very very average next 24 games you could easily expect a £30M package.
Delap doesn't really need to score 20 goals. 10-15 and he would be hugely sought after. Hojlund scored 9 in Serie A and went for £70M.
Re Leif, £30M might be high but that's got to be what we are aiming for. Lewis Hall all be it 4 years younger wen't for £28M + 7M add ons off the back of 9 PL starts. If Leif can get into the England LB conversation then a £30M package is easily achievable.
The fact that all three are English makes a massive massive difference.
