Do we need some new chants? 18:59 - Jan 5 with 1842 viewsTresBonne

Random thought. We seem a bit lost in the chants at the moment! (Away end was superb today don’t get me wrong)

But there was three renditions of Liam Delap Ole Ole before 5 minutes!

Would love to see some of the older classics return…

I watched on telly and thought our away support were great today. I heard different songs across the game too.

I’d love to hear McKenna’s song being sung again was my only thought. He’s doing so well with injuries and thr level we are at.

I think there's more variety at away games than home games.

With a view to changing the last line, I think Liverpools points gap may be a bit too far for us to bridge…

There was even renditions of “your grounds too big for you” and “empty seats”, did I miss a trick there, it looked sold out to me?😂

There were a lot of empty seats, especially in the big new stand.

Given the number of Ipswich fans I bumped into in the home areas, I would say that it is too big for Fulham fans - seem to be no trouble getting tickets there as a polite away supporter...

I think there should be a special mention for the young lad (he looked about seven) on the MotD2 highlights who, sat on Dad's shoulders, had taken his top off and was whirling it around his head when Delap scored.

Wouldn't be out of place at St James' Park, mind you if anyone tried to lift one of those shirtless Newcastle supporters up on their shoulders they would be asking for a hernia.

Must have been 25 different chants yesterday. Probably the most varied it's ever been.

Listening on Sky, the away end sounded great. Good volume, and a good number of different chants.

Said it before that we should go retro with sone old chants .

Burleys blue & white (obviously name change before any clever contents ‘or
Ipswich , ipswich , ipswich etc etc ( as Chelsea sang before game)

Both last longer than what we have now and why did ‘ McKenna at the wheel ‘ stop.

Taking the opportunity to repeat the semi regular plea of retiring all the naff Delia stuff?

- She is an old lady
- She doesn't even own the club
- The club aren't in the same division as us
- Its incredibly distasteful and embarrassing for our fanbase to engage en masse in misogynistic chanting
