FA cup income today 09:35 - Jan 12 with 1869 views | Mark | Does anyone know how much TV money we get today? I can't imagine many people abroad will watch this, but presumably we get something given we had to move the match to a Sunday? It is a shame it wasn't 3pm yesterday, especially with the Women playing at Man City at 1pm on YouTube. I read the prize money in round 3 is £115,000 for the winning team and £25,000 for the losing team. I think we keep 45% of ticket sales, with 45% to Bristol Rovers and 10% to the FA? As tickets cost £10 less consessions that won't be much. £70,000 maybe. FA Cup income is hugely important for lower league clubs, so sad for them that replays have been scrapped. For Premier League clubs FA Cup income is a drop in the ocean. [Post edited 12 Jan 11:00]

No, it is not on TV in the UK. This is the first time I have known an ITFC match to be moved purely to please overseas TV viewers, and I am not sure whether ITFC had a say or objected. I really can't imagine many will tune into this match. | | | |

The Buxton game was a couple of years ago. Meant a lot of their fans didn't travel for their big day. Buxton Cup Date Set 10th Nov 2022 15:43Town’s FA Cup second-round tie against National League North side Buxton at Portman Road will be played on Sunday 27th November with a 5pm kick-off for live broadcast overseas. 36
