Genuine question.
I know it’s easier for the Club to just apply a blanket policy to cup games, so I’m not questioning that.
But the topic just creates an interesting hypothetical. Would anyone really have paid £25 and left their seat empty on this occasion, just to get the point? £15 for Coventry, I can sort of see it. How much would you be willing to spend purely for a point?

Only use mine for games I’m personally going too or, if I can’t go, to buy a ticket for a friend who wants to go but doesn’t have the required points. |  |

I'm assuming this "no point for cup games" has come in after the Wimbledon Cup game and that was £15 for adults.
I would guess some people would pay £25 if it meant they jumped a band? Otherwise, surely 1 point isn't going to make much difference? | | | |

Whatever reading away a year back cost, intending to go, but couldn’t last min.
Didn’t hand ticket back, left it running, got the point.
Wasn’t a sell out so didn’t stop anyone from attending, and did offer it out to a number of people. |  |

Yeah, I haven’t done it myself, seems madness, but was genuinely curious about the thought process!
People are maybe too reluctant to even discuss it, but Reading, Bracknell, Coventry etc clearly shows the mindset exists out there. No judgement intended. | | | |

I just buy for the games I’m going to attend. Didn’t go to Man City, Brentford, and Wolves for various reasons and not going to Palace and so didn’t buy tickets for these games. Seriously, after a season ticket and the membership I’m not going to spend more money just to get an away point. | | | |

Doesn't affect me as I go to virtually every game and have 45 points but buying a ticket for a friend when you cant go just so you get another away point is just as selfish as buying a ticket and not going. | | | |
