What with the Ukraine, Gaza etc things go from Vlad to Verse. The latest things we have to endure just keep getting worse also with energy now going up 6.4%, Council tax 5% and water by 26% and in some areas by 45%. If you are lucky enough to be able to afford a piece of steak it has gone up from £3.50 to £6.50. Tesco 50% juice drink is up to £1.90 a bottle from £1.65 and their tinned soup from $0.85p a couple of years ago to now £1.20 and some soups are £2 a tin. I recently received an email from HMRC telling me to access their site to see next years taxable allowances meaning another £253 in income tax. Sometimes I wonder why I bothered working for 53 years to get a lower pension than those now getting it despite having to have paid 44 years N.I. now 35 years.

They are probably my favourite "silhouette" in my collection.
My most "interesting" pair are red crushed velvet Continentals that I bought for £19 from a clueless Adidas outlet store. Worth up to £200 to the right person.
