He doesnt beat a man going forward. Is very very easily turned and often badly positioned going backwards. Has a nice line in cross field balls. Doesnt excel at anything.

occasionally quality cross field passes that catch the eye but overall i really expected more.

Yeah. He had a couple of really solid games around October/November this season, if I remember correctly, but, for me, he hasn't got quite enough of either attacking or defensive nous to become a solid EPL player. Not right now anyway. He's only 25, though. I think there's a player in there. The next two or three years will be make or break for him. | | | |
