They probably agreed to it for the same reason as us - the selling club/player/agent said - "If you want this player you need to agree to this." Unless you are towards the top of the food chain then the power really doesn't seem to lie with the buying club. |  |

Jack is a bit light on brains, IMHO.
A key component in keeping them up, establishing them in the division, and getting them into Europe for the first time in a generation (without being a generational talent), and they turned a tidy profit to reinvest.
