Not wanting to be negative but they're in a great spot compared to us. Won their first two games, kept nearly all their best players (Fernandes, Dibling, Harwood-Bellis etc) until now and have serious depth.
I think we've been unlucky but I wouldn't say they're in much of a mess [Post edited 15 Aug 15:38]

A Saints supporting mate of mine told me yesterday that he didn't expect Fernandes to be there after the window. They rejected a £30m bid from West Ham this week but, as with Omari, this may be a sighting shot.
I still think it may take a while for our team to gel & we haven't seen the last of the ins and outs. I'm hopeful that we may see a new look Town performing well eventually but we have 2 more weeks of the dreaded window overhanging us. |  |

They were reported as wanting 50/60M when that bid was rejected which is ludicrous. But this is also the club that said Dibling was worth 'more than a £100 million'.
I suspect his agent will now be pointing at the OH deal as fair value moving forward given they are both 21, one season in the PL etc. | | | |
