I watched him during the U21's and really couldn't make out whether I thought he was good bad or indifferent to be honest ...

Based on his ability he would be great at Championship level but I suppose any club considering signing him would have to think long and hard regards his character. U21's did ok with him in the squad.

He's a good player who was playing out of position as Delap didn't go. Was deemed better than Stanfield to play up top despite it not being his position.

From a football perspective it would make a lot of sense but obviously was some beef before.

At the end of the day he just played for Norwich and I would get over that very quickly if he came here and played well and committed himself.

Marseille seem like a bit of a basket case. De Zerbi is a complete hot head and when you've got the sort of 'characters' they have in the dressing room its always going to be a bit wild. That's what they do though, any club that signs Joey Barton clearly enjoys that.

Rowe isn't one I would want to see here in a hurry, certainly not for 20m Euros or whatever he'll be sold for. We don't need him either, now is the time to back Philogene and give him a string of starts on the left.

Also, did he not leave the scum under a cloud? I know ultimately clubs will ignore that as they get desperate but it must harm his options a little.

I'm more excited by this Norwegian tbh. Far bigger risk vs reward potential there.

He’s always come across as a reasonably decent player imo. Maybe not deserving all the hype there was, but ok.

And Adrien Rabiot. Rabiot would be an excellent CM for us, lots of experience. Ok we're probbably looking for a slightly younger player, but 30 isnt that old, offer Marseille £500k for him and help them out.

Can't tell if you're serious but the idea of a 30 year old, £100k a week, 50+ capped France international who has spent his career in the champions league for PSG and Juve coming to the Championship is as ludicrous as anything I've ever heard on here.

We should never, ever, sign an ex Budgie.

Look at Ben Godfrey, Andy Marshall etc

Not sure of the ins and outs on this one but Rabiot is an absolute pr1ck, so might be a case of fair play Rowe this time.

Joe Royle was ex-Nodge too, think that worked as well as it could at the time.

Paul Lambert not so much.

Clive Baker as well, who quite clearly is the absolute GOAT.

He wasn't great at championship level before though, was very hit and miss and they were happy to get what they did for him.

Beat me to it, he didn’t have the greatest game in the World Cup final but still

Yup, he could have a chat with Mbappe too? Get them two in and we're sorted.
