None of them do, how would they?
It's all about who they get on in the ground in the UK. Knapper is probably the issue at Norwich so hopefully he keeps him in place. Manning isn't an amazing coach but he has done well at this level, not sure it's his kind of squad. [Post edited 29 Oct 2025 19:15]

Is it a 'modern' setup at Norwich these days, with Knapper calling the shots etc., and Manning being in more of a head coach role?

Before Norwich Knapper was analyst then loans manager at Arsenal and before that a performance analyst at Scunthorpe. He’s 38 years old.
It looks a very strange appointment to me though I really don’t know what those roles involve. Seduced by him working at a ‘big club’?

Yep.
Having a listen, he is relating a lot at NCFC lot to US sports, they don't really translate.
Now the Brewers have a very successful C Suite and great operation but Ben Knapper doing that solo on the ground isn't going to work out well.
Interesting he put Nunez pretty much solely on Knapper, saying he isn't interfering but he could have veto'ed it. [Post edited 29 Oct 2025 19:41]
